These foot guards are robust metal shields worn over regular shoes, offering maximum protection to the entire foot, including the instep and toes. Engineered to withstand impacts of up to 75 foot-pounds, they help ensure your workers stay safe from falling, rolling, or flying objects, as well as accidental tool blows.
Ellwood Safety's foot guards fit any shoe, eliminating the need for right or left distinctions. Available in two widths—5" (average) and 5 1/2" (large)—they provide a comfortable fit for all-day wear. A rubber toe clip, crossbar, and adjustable straps—either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap with a spring fastening device—keep the guards securely in place.
Available in both aluminum alloy and steel, these foot guards offer equal levels of protection, regardless of material choice. They meet or exceed Federal Regulations, providing protection equal to ANSI-Z41-1999 and ASTM-F2413-05 standards for compression, impact, and metatarsal protection.
