About this product
The 6-Foot Adjustable Web Restraint Lanyard Z07 features single-leg construction and utilizes 1-inch polyester webbing for resistance to UV light and abrasion. The webbing also has a tensile strength of 9,800 pounds, and features embedded wear-indicating threads. This lanyard also features double-locking snap hooks at the attachment and anchorage ends. The StayPut buckle allows the length to be adjusted from 4-1/2-to-6-feet to eliminate unnecessary free-fall. The end terminations feature wear pads for additional safety and long life, while both ends feature a steel thimble for extra resistance to wear. Restraint Lanyards are intended to be used on platforms, in buckets and other areas to prevent the possibility of a fall. Different lengths and types are available to restrict leading edge access. Restraint lanyards can be attached to the back D-Ring on a full body harness or restraint belt. The Shock Absorbing Lanyard is the active component of a Personal Fall Arrest System. In the event of a fall, a Shock Absorbing Lanyard will not only arrest the fall, preventing you from hitting the next lower level, they will reduce the forces of impact on your body. All of our lanyards are designed to meet or exceed applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.
