The ClearPack Shock Absorbing Lanyard features a StayPut buckle that allows it to adjust from 4-1/2-feet to 6-feet. This is a single-leg lanyard for fall arrest that is designed to limit arrest forces to 900 pounds. A clear PVC cover protects the shock-absorber and allows for easy inspection. This lanyard is equipped with a 1-inch polyester webbing that has a tensile strength of 9,800 pounds, as well as double-locking snap hooks at the attachment and anchorage ends. ClearPack lanyards are the gold standard in deceleration devices. These lanyards are durable, have a long life and are available in dozens of configurations to protect you wherever your job may take you. The Shock Absorbing Lanyard is the active component of a Personal Fall Arrest System. Shock Absorbing Lanyards are part of a category of goods referred to as Connecting Devices, which are intended to connect the back D-ring of you Full Body Harness to the anchorage at your work position. In the event of a fall, a Shock Absorbing Lanyard will not only arrest the fall, preventing you from hitting the next lower level, they will reduce the forces of impact on your body.
