The JET® JLP-A Series Lever Hoists combine safety, reliability, and durability, designed for light to medium-duty industrial applications. Featuring a patented Brake Wear Indicator for safety, it signals when to replace friction disks, and offers optional shipyard hooks to prevent hook stretching from point or tip loading. Available in capacities from ¼ ton to 6 tons, with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet (custom lifts available), this contractor-grade hoist includes a Grade 80 black oxide-coated load chain for added durability. Its impact-resistant all-steel construction ensures protection, while industrial-rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging and stretch slowly to indicate overload. The needle bearings support the load sheave, promoting efficiency and smooth operation. JET’s improved easy-free chain design offers quicker positioning and slack chain take-up, engineered not to free chain under load. The newly redesigned ergonomic grip enhances operator control and comfort, while cast-steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts provide superior durability. Finally, the Weston-style double ratchet pawl brake design splits the load across opposite sides of the ratchet gear for greater load security.
