The JET HVBS-712DV Horizontal/Vertical Variable Speed Metalworking Bandsaw combines industry-leading innovation with increased output and operator safety. Powered by a 3-step gear, 1 horsepower DC motor, it delivers unbeatable torque while consuming less energy, offering speeds from 88 to 270 SFPM. The multi-position blade guide increases throat capacity from 4" to 8" in the vertical position, and speeds can be adjusted with the turn of a knob, eliminating the need for belt changes. The bandsaw includes a vertical 9-1/16" x 11-7/8" worktable and is CSA/CUS certified and UL listed. Additional features include an adjustable toolless material stop, four 8" rubber wheels for easy movement, a heavy cast iron bow and bed, hydraulic downfeed for smooth cutting, an improved wider stand with a built-in storage cabinet and chip tray, a sealed hardened and ground gear drive, and side- and rear-ball bearing support for enhanced performance.
