The Makita Angle Grinder model GA4530 utilizes a powerful 6.0 AMP motor that delivers 11,000 RPM for the most demanding applications. With a compact design that weighs in at only 4.0 lbs., this tool can be used for extended periods without operator fatigue.
A protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature from dust and debris while the labyrinth construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris for a longer tool life. An all-ball bearing design with a metal gear housing gives this grinder the added durability needed for the most demanding applications. The newly machined bevel gears provide up to 2x longer service life than previous models!
The small diameter barrel grip measures in at only 2-1/4", and the two position adjustable side handle is positioned at an increased 20° angle for added comfort. It also features a slide switch design with lock-on.
