The Porter Cable model 7539 plunge router utilizes a powerful 15 amp motor which provides the power and durability necessary for the toughest applications. It features a versatile, electronic five-speed motor with 10,000, 13,000, 16,000, 19,000, and 21,000 rpm settings. With 5 different speed settings, this tool accommodates various router bit cutting diameters and applications.
A soft-start feature reduces torque at start-up and allows the motor to maintain constant speed under load. An auto-release collet system allows for easy bit removal after use. A depth rod with a 6-position adjustable turret enables stepped or repeated plunge cuts, and it has a 3" plunge range.
Built with a precision machined aluminum motor housing and base, a dust-sealed switch, and a sealed ball bearing construction, this tool is durable. Large handles enhance user control while the handle incorporates a trigger switch with a useful lock-on feature.
The 7539 includes the Router Motor, Plunge Base, 1/2" collet, collet wrench, and operating manual.
