This "T-Handle" tool features a unique locking collar to allow the tool to be used as an untorqued snug-up or back-off as well as a conventional torque tool. With the locking collar retracted, the tool torques to the specified torque in the right hand direction (tightening), and ratcheting in the left hand direction.
When proper torque has been reached, the mechanism slips internally and over tightening is impossible.
