This Wilton 540A series carriage design c-clamp is quintessential for light industrial, wood woodworking and various repair applications. In addition, this unit has a black oxide coating to resist rust, along with a oscillating head and sliding cross pin handle

Each frame is made from high strength ductile iron castings with a sliding pin (vise type) handle, single acme thread rolled spindle, and oscillating ball and socket tip.

These are Wilton's heaviest-duty carriage clamps available with a maximum clamping force of 2,150 lbs.
