The JET 15" and 20" Drill Presses are known for their accuracy, stability, and versatility, offering a greater range of spindle speeds compared to other machines in this class. They feature a 1/2" diameter external depth stop with a three-nut locking mechanism for quick adjustment, an adjustable tension spindle return spring, a drill chuck and key, and a hinged metal belt and pulley cover. The on/off switch is conveniently located on the front of the drill press head, while the quick adjustment motor mount allows for rapid changing of spindle speeds. Additionally, a telescoping safety spindle guard enhances operator safety.
